1. The Doctrine of Natural Variance
Leather is a biological substrate. Every "Construct" produced by Star Leather Goods bears the unique signature of the organic hide. Minimal variations in grain density, tonal depth, or natural pore distribution are not categorized as defects; they are the definitive markers of Material Authenticity.
Orders are executed within a strict AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) framework. By initiating a production cycle, the client acknowledges and accepts these inherent artisanal tolerances as part of the premium leather-working heritage.
2. Definitive Defect Classification
A "Manufacturing Defect" is strictly defined as a deviation from the agreed-upon Technical Tech-Pack that compromises the structural integrity or functional utility of the product. This includes hardware failure, structural seam rupture, or severe tanning inconsistencies.
Subjective dissatisfaction regarding "hand-feel" or aesthetic nuance—where the product aligns with the approved Golden Sample—does not constitute grounds for a claim or return.
3. The Claims Protocol
All discrepancies must be reported through a formal Digital Inspection Report within 72 hours of the consignment’s arrival at the destination. Failure to notify our compliance team within this window transitions the shipment status to "Final Acceptance."
The report must include high-resolution macro photography and a detailed SKU-specific breakdown of the observed variance. This protocol ensures a precise audit trail for our quality assurance grid.
5. Remediation & Rectification
In the event of a confirmed manufacturing error, our commitment to excellence remains uncompromising. Our liability is strictly limited to the Rectification or Replacement of the defective units. We do not provide monetary refunds.
Strategic Continuity
For high-priority capsule collections, we may offer a "Production Credit" toward future orders, at the sole discretion of the Executive Board, to ensure the continuity of your brand’s supply chain.
6. Sample & Prototype Finality
All prototypes, "Golden Samples," and R&D constructs are provided on a Non-Returnable basis. These items serve as the technical blueprint for the bulk production cycle and are considered final assets once they leave our facility.
7. Limitation of Secondary Liability
Star Leather Goods is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of retail revenue, marketing expenditures, or brand-side administrative fees. Our financial exposure is capped at the Invoice Value of the specific defective units confirmed.
