1. Global Logistics Architecture
Star Leather Goods operates a sophisticated export network designed for the precision movement of premium leather constructs. Every shipment is an extension of our manufacturing excellence, managed through high-tier logistics nodes to ensure the integrity of the goods from our Karachi facility to your global distribution centers.
2. Incoterms & Liability Transition
To maintain absolute transparency in international trade, we operate under standardized ICC Incoterms. Our default frameworks are designed to align with the risk-management protocols of global luxury houses.
The buyer assumes total responsibility and risk once the consignment is positioned for pickup at our loading bay.
Liability transitions to the buyer the moment the goods clear the vessel's rail at the Port of Karachi.
Bespoke logistics architectures, such as DAP or CIF, are available for established partners upon executive review.
3. Lead Times & Dispatch Sequences
Manufacturing cycles are estimated at 60 to 90 days, contingent upon material grade and hardware complexity. The "Dispatch Sequence" initiates only after the final "Golden Sample" is approved and the financial protocol is cleared.
Timelines are finalized upon receipt of the mobilization deposit.
Clients receive a formal "Ready for Dispatch" notification 7 business days prior to the scheduled release.
4. Export Compliance & Documentation
We manage the bureaucratic complexity of international leather trade with administrative precision. Our export department ensures all "Constructs" are accompanied by the requisite legal and environmental certifications.
Includes Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Lading.
LWG-Certification and REACH compliance data are provided to satisfy EU/US import mandates.
While we provide all necessary export paperwork, the buyer remains responsible for domestic duties and VAT in the destination country.
5. Contingency & Force Majeure
While our supply chain is engineered for stability, external disruptions may impact transit windows. Star Leather Goods maintains no liability for delays stemming from Force Majeure events.
Includes maritime bottlenecks, energy rationing, or regional logistical strikes.
In the event of a delay, our logistics team will provide an adjusted "Arrival Forecast" within 48 hours of the disruption.
6. Insurance & Damage Mitigation
The protection of the consignment during transit is a shared priority. We mandate that all global partners secure comprehensive All-Risk Marine Insurance prior to dispatch.
All goods are secured in export-grade, moisture-resistant industrial packaging.
Any transit-related discrepancies must be documented and reported to the carrier and our logistics lead within 72 hours of arrival.
7. Packaging Integrity & Preservation
Every "Construct" is prepared for transit within a climate-controlled environment to prevent moisture-induced degradation. We utilize high-density, acid-free archival materials and reinforced industrial outer-casing designed for the stresses of multi-modal international transport.
8. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) & Carrier Autonomy
While we maintain strategic partnerships with premier global carriers, the buyer retains the autonomy to nominate a preferred Freight Forwarder. In such instances, our responsibility concludes upon the hand-over of the consignment and the issuance of the Warehouse Receipt.
